STADCO’s NEW GANESH CYCLONE-32 CNC TURN/MILL CENTER
STADCO’s new GANESH CYCLONE-32 is a 7-axis, 1.25” (32mm) bar diameter, sliding headstock CNC lathe without a guide bushing. This configuration facilitates faster setups, greater workpiece concentricity, and reduced part cost because it does not require expensive ground bar stock. The machine features enhanced rigidity with the ability to aggressively rough out material and then finish with a second tool. The counter spindle can work simultaneously with the main spindle. These features allow for shorter cycle times, which produce additional cost savings. These savings are particularly evident in tough material and shorter workpieces with lower length-to-diameter ratios. With dual spindles, 11 live tools and as many as 27 total tools, the CYCLONE-32 CS is designed to handle complex parts. The live tooling and full C-axis capability allow for cross milling, cross drilling, cross tapping, engraving and other complex radial machining details. The main spindle has 6.5” of Z-axis movement available. In some circumstances, longer parts and parts with diameter up to 1.375” can be accommodated.
